Congratulations on a great concert, and a successful final week of school!  Wishing all of you a safe and happy holiday!  Enjoy your break, and see you in 2014!

Final Concert Reminders!

I am looking forward to your performance tomorrow evening!  Thank you to all students who have put in so much hard work to make this evening possible.  Here are a few final reminders to make sure you feel successful at tomorrow night's performance:

Beginning Band
Call Time: 5:15pm
Concert Uniform: White Polo Shirt, Black pants, black shoes, black socks

Intermediate Band
Call Time: 5:25pm
Concert Uniform: White button down shirt, black pants, black shoes, black socks

Advanced Band
Call Time: 5:15pm
Concert Uniform: White button down long sleeve shirt, black pants, black shoes, black socks

The call time is the time students are expected to be ready to play, not the time they show up to the school.  Students remember to sign in when you arrive so you can receive your concert credit!!


Parents/Guardians/Family & Friends...the concert is scheduled to begin at 6pm.  Doors will open anytime after 5.  Cost is free.  I look forward to seeing you at Tuesday's night's performance!  -Ms. Reineke-

Concert Uniform Check is TOMORROW, Monday, December 9!

Students...remember your concert uniform check is tomorrow!  Bring your clothes with you (or a note) to earn your points!!

Musical Manuscripts AND writing prompts are due tomorrow!

Students! Remember you are expected to have the following items prepared to turn in tomorrow during class:

-Your signed copy of the December Musical Manuscript. 

-Your music writing prompt decorated and picture ready!!

Percussion Ensemble Information for Harvest Festival Performance

Attention Percussion Ensemble Students!  Listed below is the information I have been given for tomorrow's performance.  If there are any other changes, I will post them to the website for you to read.  Please read below and contact me with any questions. 


Schedule for Monday, October 28
3:05-Report to the band room (you must be wearing your uniform at this time!)
3:10-3:30-Rehearsal/Concert Run
3:30-3:45-Review procedures/expectations/instrument assignments
3:45-4:30-Load equipment in vehicles & drop off at Sunrise
4:30-Report time to Sunrise (First attendance check!)
5:05-5:40-Performance (time includes Cheerleaders, Orchestra, and Percussion Ensemble)
5:45-Load Equipment in vehicles & drop off at Bailey

Additional Reminders
-Concert Uniform: White Polo Shirt & Jeans
-Remember your instrument assignments.  You are responsible for this instrument the ENTIRE afternoon!
-TURN IN YOUR PERMISSION SLIP PAPERWORK, if you have not already done so.
-Do not hesitate to contact Ms. Reineke with any additional questions!

Looking forward to tomorrow's first percussion ensemble rehearsal of the year!  We begin at 7:40am.  Congratulations to those of you who were accepted.  See you there!

Thank you for a great first week of school!!  Here are a few reminders for the upcoming week...

ALL CLASSES-Handbook Signature Pages Due Tuesday, September 3rd
                         -Percussion Ensemble Applications Due Wednesday, September 4th
                         -Course Fee Money (or payment plan established) Due Friday, September 6th

BEGINNING BANDS-Turn in your instrument interest forms as soon as possible!  The sooner you turn in your form with a parent/guardian signature, the more likely you are to receive your first or second choice instrument!

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED BANDS-Instrument & Supplies Due Tuesday, September 3rd
